This workshop will introduce effective practices for creating, managing, and delivering digital content to supplement your curriculum.
* This session meets the "technology integration" licensure renewal requirement.

eTextbooks... Fad or Future?

Much more than scanning the pages of a textbook:

  • Digital curriculum is multimedia, interactive, and customizable.
    • Text, images, audio, video, etc...
    • Animation, simulations, games, etc...
    • Instant feedback, personalized learning, 24/7 access, etc...
  • Access is key (at school and at home).
  • A LMS (Learning Management System), like Moodle, is critical.
  • Content must be as universal as possible...
    • Desktops, laptops, netbooks, iPads, tablets, etc...
    • Web-based resources are often better than documents.
  • Digital Media: Create, Manage, Deliver (presentation)
