eTextbooks... Fad or Future?
Much more than scanning the pages of a textbook:
- Digital curriculum is multimedia, interactive, and customizable.
- Text, images, audio, video, etc...
- Animation, simulations, games, etc...
- Instant feedback, personalized learning, 24/7 access, etc...
- Access is key (at school and at home).
- A LMS (Learning Management System), like Moodle, is critical.
- Content must be as universal as possible...
- Desktops, laptops, netbooks, iPads, tablets, etc...
- Web-based resources are often better than documents.
- Digital Media: Create, Manage, Deliver (presentation)
