Description: Looking for new ways to integrate technology and engage students? In this hands-on presentation, we will examine 10 resources that can be used in a variety of subjects with elementary students. Participants will have time to explore the resources and discuss ways they can be used in the elementary classroom.
* This session meets the "technology integration" licensure renewal requirement.

Workshop links and resources:

  1. Pinterest
  2. Meograph
    1. Is a digital storytelling tool for educators and students.  Teachers can create their own to teach lessons and students can create their own to apply learning objectives.  You can add video, audio, pics, text, maps, timelines, and links.
  3. Editable and Interactive Graphic Organizers
    1. WOW!  Great for teacher use or as a student assessment.
  4. MINUTE TO WIN-IT!  - The "how to" of all the games
    1. You've seen the game show.  These games are quick and hook students into a lesson.  I use a lot of them in Science class.  They can be used as a "brain break" as well.
