RTI 101

Page history last edited by S.Brandt 9 years, 1 month ago

Description: Basic Introduction of New Prague School District’s RTI Framework and how it works with student’s ages 3 to 21.  As you walk through the halls of the New Prague Area schools, you will hear the letters “RTI” being tossed around by professionals.  The main goal of Response to Intervention (RTI) is to lay the groundwork for achieving full literacy through early intervention services.  Within the RTI model, school staff intensifies instructional support for struggling readers, to close their learning gaps as soon as possible and keep them on track for reading and school success. RTI 101 will take you from the very beginning of the RTI process, where it came from, how it landed in New Prague, and where we currently are within each building in our District.
