Description: Curious to learn which literacy strategies will enhance student learning for the greatest number of students? Whether they are from your gifted and talented, minority, striving reader, average, or ____insert name here___ population, these strategies will give you the biggest bang for your buck. In this session, we’ll explore pre-teaching vocabulary, establishing purpose for reading, writing and reading connection, and the comprehension continuum. Teachers will leave having experienced a series of strategies and ideas for immediate implementation.
